Board trip to Jordan

In the end of June / begin July, The Carpenter’s Son Foundation will travel to Jordan. She takes the time to meet with organizations and individuals involved in the work Brother Andrew has initiated.

What projects can we support in the near future after Brother Andrew suddenly passed away in October 2020? Corona made traveling and meeting virtually impossible. It is still risky, but we have to move forward. That is why we are going to Jordan with two board members to make an inventory.

For this trip, we are pleased to receive support from the Dutch development expert Dirk Frans. We want to be meaningful and like Brother Andrew to give ‘hands and feet’ to our mission. Thus, we are delighted by the invitation from His Royal Highness, Prince Mired, of Jordan to join him and representatives of the Jordanian Council for the Disabled to explore opportunities for cooperation.

We will visit other partners who were involved in setting up the Center for Rehabilitation Technology, but also loyal employees and friends, who have all continued some of Br. Andrew’s work in their own way. In every respect it will be a special journey that we would like to keep our donors informed about.

Would you like to join us in:

praying for:

  • a safe journey, given all mandatory tests and travel restrictions
  • constructive encounters with organizations and individuals
  • an overview of projects we can support

thanking for:

  • the opportunity to travel to Jordan
  • support for the trip in all kinds of ways
  • health and strength

Stay in touch with us on our journey! Keep an eye on the website and our Facebook page.
