Deaf culture, gym and future cooperation?
There are several special education schools in Holland and one of them is Signis primary Deaf school in Amsterdam, which is part of Koninklijke Kentalis.
The exchange group received a tour through the school and they attended classes in Dutch Sign Language, Deaf culture, gym and regular lessons. They also gave a short presentation about Deaf education in Jordan to the older students.

Kentalis International informed us about their work in other parts of the world, like in African countries, but also in Lebanon. We hope future cooperation in Jordan will also be possible.
It was a very busy day for the Kentalis colleagues, because of other events on the same day. But they managed to present a solid program, which gave new insights in the Dutch deaf education system.
