Summer camp for Deaf in Egypt: “Again next year? Pray for it!”
In July, Peace Dove for the Deaf held its first summer camp in Egypt. About 60 participants spent 6 days in Alexandria. In addition to the fun time with competitions, swimming and outings, they were enthusiastic about what they learned from the Bible.
For the first time they received an explanation about the subject ‘the trinity’. They were very eager to learn and would like director Sahel to come again next year. His answer was: just pray for it! And that they will. We can follow that example.
Summer camps are usually held in Jordan. As this year’s focus was on Egypt, a one-day summer camp was held in Jordan in August, which was also very well received. These summer camps were made possible with the help of donors from The Carpenter’s Son Foundation.
